Our Brands

At Stout Textiles, we believe that every home deserves to be both beautiful and comfortable. That’s why we’ve spent nearly a century designing and distributing the highest-quality fabrics, trimmings, and wallpapers that transform any space into a true reflection of your style.

Founded in 1927 by brothers Charles and Harry Stout, our family-owned company has grown from a small upholstery shop in Philadelphia to a leading provider of interior furnishings with a worldwide reputation for excellence.

Over the years, we’ve expanded our offerings through acquisitions and diversification, but our commitment to integrity, fairness, and approachability has never wavered.

Marcus William is the epitome of modern glamour. With rich and saturated colors adorning each luxuriously constructed fabric, our textiles are designed to make a statement in any space.

We work with an extensive network of international fabric mills to create unique patterns, textures, and weaves that set us apart from the rest. Our team of talented designers and artisans collaborate to produce fabrics that are both visually stunning and of the highest quality.

We believe in the power of color to transform a room, and our fabrics reflect that belief. From bold and bright to soft and subtle, we offer a range of hues to suit any taste and style.

In 2019, we welcomed Bassett McNab into the Stout family of brands, combining two Philadelphia family legacies that are rich in textile history.

Best known for their traditional florals, chinoiserie, and classic toiles that adorned many homes in the twentieth century, Bassett McNab has been a beloved brand for generations. And with our relaunch, we’re bringing that enduring appeal into the modern era.

So whether you’re looking to add a touch of nostalgia to your home or create a space that’s both timeless and modern, you can trust Bassett McNab and Stout Textiles to provide the inspiration, selection, and quality you need to bring your vision to life.

Victoria Larson is a creator and weaver of tales through textile and pattern design. She works through the lens of the beauty and soul of the sea; art for art’s sake; fine materials and craftsmen; and the uplifting effect of design on the human spirit.
